ROTARIANS CHRISTMAS 2011

As in previous years, the members of The Rotary Club of Donaghadee have been, and will continue to be very busy in the run up to Christmas.

Their activities commenced on Friday 2 December. On this occasion they assisted the local traders to welcome Santa to Donaghadee, when he arrived off the lifeboat. 

On Saturday the 3rd and 10^th Dec they helped Santa in his Grotto in Donaghadee to raise money for The Lapland Trust.

On Thursday the 8^th Dec they held their Special AGM, at which Rotarian Billy Hamilton was elected Vice President for the year 2012-2013. The treasurer announced that over £19,000 had been raised for charity during 2010-2011. The members brought with them food hampers to be distributed to people in need by Bryson House and St Vincent de Paul

The members will be collecting money for charity at Bloomfield Shopping Centre on 22^nd 23^rd and 24^th Dec.
