Santa arrived in Donaghadee today, Saturday 16 December 2006 in the first ever town centre Grotto hosted by Rotary Club of Donaghadee and aided by an assortment of elves of varying shapes. Around 150 local children visited Santa and received presents in a specially constructed Grotto in the Old Market House, courtesy of Mrs Heather Day. The event was sponsored by John Minnis, estate agent. Santa will again be there on Saturday 23 December from 10.00am to 4.30pm.
