Donaghadee Rotarians honour late Past President Jack McKeag

At a ceremony in Donaghadee Primary School on Friday 9 December the school named its Assembly Hall “The McKeag Hall” in memory of their late Headmaster Jack McKeag. Rotarians of the Rotary Club of Donaghadee also attended and President Mike Camlin presented the school with a lectern which the club had commissioned in honour of Jack McKeag who was the founding President of the club.  The lectern was constructed by local craftsman Matt Alexander in solid oak. Mrs Joan McKeag also presented the school with a clock. Everyone was entertained by the school choirs and musicians along with typically humorous anecdotes of Jack’s time as headmaster of the school.
