Youth Leadership Competition Sarah Edmund is presented with the Alf
Buchanan Memorial Trophy by President Alistair Johnston and Youth Activities
Chairman Norwood Steele.
When
District Governor
Joe
Grey
visited the club, he was presented with a print of Donaghadee
harbour by President Alistair and President Elect Les Jones who was also the
artist. D G Joe was then taken to see the harbour by night from an adjacent
hostelry!
President
Alistair and President Elect Les presenting June Carson from Marie Curie with a
cheque for £1,500 which was raised by sale of tickets for the annual car
ballot.

, Donaghadee
Rotary
Club took part in the RIBI national Stroke Awareness Day. This
involved local medical staff checking blood pressure and giving advice where
necessary. In excess of 230 people had their BP checked in Donaghadee on the
day, pictured above is

As it turned out, some Rotarians were not as healthy as they thought!
